The Community Foundation of Nova Scotia is pleased to offer its services to non profit organizations. Non profit organizations may choose to establish a Charitable Endowment Fund or a Managed fund with us. The set up of these Funds is simple and efficient. You build the fund, we’ll do the rest!

Getting Started

Charitable organizations considering an endowment fund should first ensure they can answer "yes" to the following questions:

• Are you a registered charity approved by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)?
• Can you donate the required minimum of $25,000 over two years? 
• Can future donors be convinced that your organization deserves to be backed with a permanent stream of monetary support?
